The Ugly Truth

Actors:  Gerard Butler, Katherine Heigl, Eric Winters, Kevin Connolly

Rating: 8 out of 10, funny as hell chick flick although the ending is somewhat formulaic.  Butler seizes control of movie which I think was meant to be a Heigl vehicle but I just don’t think she has the chops.  She is attractive but she puts out this air of aloofness that makes you think she would be real difficult to deal with.  That’s a problem because she is usually portraying, as here, a “nice” person.  That being said the movie is definitely funny and a couple of the scenes are fall on the floor funny - you have to see the vibrating panties. 

MVP:  Butler is his typical awesome as Mike the outspoken TV host
