Actors: Kurt Russell, Connie Nielson, Jason Scott Lee, Michael Chiklis, Gary Busey
Rating: 9 out of 10, well done sci fi that emphasizes core values of soldiers and the importance of humanity. Russell is a good enough actor that he plays the deadpan role with nuance instead of someone like Keanu for whom it is a natural state. The story is pretty straightforward and with a less capable cast would have been a B-movie, at best. This works and was very enjoyable.
MVP: Russell excellent as the deadpan, but deadly SGT Todd
