Actors: Jim Carrey, Ed Harris, Natasha McEnrole, Laura Linney, Noah Emmerich
Rating: 10 out of 10, just truly enjoyable story about the human spirit with Carrey finally figuring out how to be a dramatic actor without having to channel his inner psycho. The supporting cast is fabulous with Linney and Harris standing out, as they usually do, but this is Carrey’s movie and he’s great. Emmerich is also very good as the supposedly true friend. A great send up of the idiocy of reality TV.
MVP: Carrey shows acting chops for first time and is great in title role as Truman Burbank
