Actors: Jason Statham, Tony Goldwyn, Donald Sutherland, Ben Foster
Rating: 7 out of 10, workman like effort for Statham that was still very entertaining. HE plays an assassin forced to kill his mentor under false pretenses. Foster, so good in everything he does, tries to add an edge to his character but comes across as more weird than deep. Foster and Statham do make an interesting team and played well off each other. There were some huge holes in the plot, such as having Statham hiding on the bottom of a pool with no apparent means of breathing and a suddenly appearing steak in a torture scene. Still the movie has Statham doing what he does best, a very dangerous loner. Goldwyn, who's starting to show his age, plays his typical slimy villain. A very entertaining popcorn movie.
MVP: Statham as Arthur Bishop, the conflicted assassin
