Rating: 7 out of 10, great remake of the classic with Coppola’s artistic bent. Its obvious they ran out of money for certain sets but it is still very interesting use of shadows that is very creepy. Ryder is way too whiney and you end up rooting for the count to take her out and save Reeves (at his monotone best) who’s married to her.
MVP: Oldman as the count, playing the part from a young man to an ancient demon
