The Warriors

Rating: 7 out of 10, good action with 70s styles and themes as a really wimpy looking gang (they’re all actors) is forced to fight their way across NYC back from the Bronx to Coney Island.  Historically based on the epic march of Xenophon’s 10,000 Greeks stranded in ancient Persia after the death of their benefactor Cyrus.  Typical Walter Hill grittiness and solid action.
