Actors: Bill Paxton, Helen Hunt, Jami Gertz, Cary
Rating: 8 out of 10, great cast and engaging story with awesome effects. You get a real sense of the destruction and fear engendered by these natural phenomena. Hunt and Paxton are great together but Gertz is underused – always liked her. This movie successfully captures the tension and comradery of the storm chasing team. Elwes always does annoying part well, must be a good actor because he's really likable in parts that call for that.
MVP: Paxton as Bill the reluctant husband and scientist
