Rating: 10 out of 10, best Duke western ever made, with Duke in his best role - thoroughly enjoyable. You can almost see him enjoying himself playing Cogburn and showing the true acting ability that is so overlooked because he was such a physical presence. The final confrontation with a young Robert Duvall and Rooster Cogburn is one of my favorite of all time. "Fill your hand - You Son-of-a-bitch!"
