Rating: 8 out of 10, great heart puller as underdog wins a small battle through personal courage. While this is a little too much candy sweetness you can’t help but root for the little guy succeeding through sheer determination. The ending scene where Rudy gets into an actual game is great cinema.
MVP: Astin lives up or down to the title role and is totally believable
