Red Heat

Actors:  Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jim Belushi, Peter Boyle, Lawrence Fishburne, Gina Gershon, Ed O’Ross

Rating: 9 out of 10, excellent Walter Hill action, drama with gritty edges and very realistic action scenes.  The interaction between Belushi and Arnold is hilarious.  This same type of relationship was polished up and used to great effect in True Lies.  A much better movie than it is usually given credit for and Arnold is growing acting wings while we watch.  I remember when I first saw this that it had scenes obviously shot in Moscow and this was shortly after the fall of the Soviet Union.

MVP:  Arnold in first role where he actually acts as Danko the stiff Russian cop
