Actors: Mary Steenbergen, Jeff Goldblum, Lance Henrickkson, Sean Patrick Flannery
Rating: 10 out of 10, great music, story, cast with real heart about life’s possibilities. While some of the bit parts are over the top stereotypes, that doesn’t distract from the message of the film. Henrickkson’s ability to communicate with his comatose wife and reconnecting with his son is heartbreaking. Flannery is very, very good in the lead, with some real nuance – hard to believe he was also one of the Boondock Saints.
